Artist statement
In my work, I practice an intense attentiveness to beauty. I notice it, elevate it, and almost canonize it, making it the central figure of my paintings.

All of my works are created from a close perspective to emphasize the physical presence and tactility of the image. This composition concentrates the viewer’s attention on a single feeling, preventing it from dispersing into surrounding noise.

My paintings feel suspended in time: they are contemporary, yet they also pay homage to classical, academic, and Renaissance painting traditions of the old masters.

In a world marked by uncertainty, wars, and destruction — where survival often seems more urgent than aesthetics — I create space for beauty within my canvases, allowing it to unfold without limitation. Femininity in my work is hyperbolized, sensual, and grand. Here, it has its place.
