I am a professional Ukrainian artist specializing in figurative sentimental art. In my work, I create an idealized world that focuses on genuine connection, emotional intimacy, and finding magic in everyday life. I use a restrained or even monochrome color palette and depersonalized human figures. My paintings magnify what truly matters. This approach allows viewers to experience the moment firsthand. The size of the figures and canvases invites close viewing, adding a sense of quietness and intimacy. The idealistic and romantic themes in my art emerged as a response to life’s challenges. The occupation of my hometown in 2014, the loss of parts of my community, and the destruction of a basic sense of safety forced me to search for new psychological support to maintain mental balance and the will to live. I found such support in the presence of loved ones. Through sincere and trusting relationships, I rediscovered a sense of safety and strength. My paintings are filled with deep gratitude for love and for the endless beauty that can be found in everyday life — if only we pause and take a closer look. And I truly hope that my art will help viewers feel the priceless treasures they already hold in their lives more deeply.
